Golf Instruction Clinics --- at Manderley on the Green and
Greensmere Golf and Country Club
The SHORT GAME consists of 3 main parts:
- PUTTING
- CHIPPING
- PITCHING (from inside 100 yards)
Warren's Total Golf SHORT GAME clinics will show you in simple terms how to make a good putting stroke,
make good chips, and strike the golf ball consistently inside 100. Take away the fear and apprehension
of this part of the game by building confidence and knowledge with simple, effective short game
swing techniques.
One of the absolute basics of good scoring is solid putting from short to medium range. If you're confident
from these distances, it will take the pressure off of all your other shots. Learn all about the
mechanics of putting and develop that touch feel and distance control.
Do you want to control your shots more effectively when you are on the fringe around the greens?
Then you need a good chip shot. The main things to focus on are: the
grip, the set up and holding the face square. This will help you avoid flubbed shots and gain optimal
direction control.
The ability to get and down consistently from around the green is critical, and being able to pitch the
ball well inside of 100 yards makes saving par a lot easier. The three basic shots you need to know
are high soft shots for when the pin is close to the fringe, medium shots for when there is lots of
green, and low shots for getting out from under trees or very windy days with a straight shot to the
green.
How would you like to consistently out-drive your playing parnters and have them be amazed at your
newfound power, distance and control? How would you like to step onto the tee box on those long
par 4's knowing that you'll be hitting an iron for your second shot - not a hybrid or a fairway wood?
Or find yourself going for the green on your second shot on some par 5's? Or perhaps you just want to
gain back the distance you've lost with age? Warrens's Total Golf driving clinic will help you hit
the fairway consistently resulting in lower scores, by showing you how to hit a longer, more accurate drive, with less
effort than you are using today.
